Gloria Jean Veazey, 73, wife of John Lamar Veazey, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017.
Born in Athens, she was the daughter of the late James Lee and Frances Cobb Stephens. She retired from Flowers Inc. Wholesale.
Survivors include her husband, daughters; Sheri Veazey of Statham and Tara Butler of Dewy Rose, GA; sisters: BJ Weaver and Elizabeth Jansen; grandchildren: Logan (Macie) Veazey, Whitney Butler and Lane Tuck and one great granddaughter: Syndal Veazey.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 a 10AM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Ken Thrift officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Lord & Stephens West Chapel.
