Steven Paul Ottewell, of Walkerton, passed away peacefully at home, on Friday, August 25th, 2017. He was 16. Beloved son of Paul (Doris Dyksterhuis) of Elmira and Erin (Terry Whynott) of Walkerton. Loving brother of Sara. Cherished grandson of John and Linda Giesler, of Walkerton, Beverley and Ronald Popp of Scone and Harvey and Carol Ottewell of Wiarton and great grandson of Ray and Kathleen Giesler of Walkerton. Steven will also be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins; Jen, Reagan, Ryker, Ivy, Taylor and Ryan Elliot, Steven, Kristina, Jacob, Nathan and Aiden Giesler, Rayanne, Mike, Karissa and Mackenzie Dilworth, Jennifer, Dave, Nick and Jessica Popp, Patty, Enzo, Kyle and Amanda Quarterone and Sherri, Jeremy and Rydder Oehring as well as his great aunts and uncles and his extended family Jackson, Brianna, Brigitte, Brent and Braydon.

Steven's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with parish prayers at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 28th, 2017 at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St. S, Walkerton). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria Street, Walkerton.) Rev. David Weise officiating. Celebration of Life will take place at the Knight of Columbus Hall following mass.
