Obituary for Lois Mae Wells (Thompson)

Lois Mae Wells, 77, of Jacksonville, OR passed Sunday, August 27, 2017 at her home. She was born in Knoxville, TN to Clarence Thompson and Hattie Mae Kostyal. She and her family came to southern Oregon from Virginia over 45 years ago. She was a member of Valley Bible Fellowship for over 30 years. She worked at the Rogue Valley manor as cook, caterer and center piece creator for more than 20 years. Lois loved her family get togethers for her famous southern barbeque. She also enjoyed working on her family geneology. She is survived by three children; son Larry Wells of Seattle, WA, daughters Susan Kinsella of Medford and Sandy(Lloyd) Hartley of Clatskanie, OR, four grandchildren; Courtney Munson, Kylie Kinsella, Stephen Hartley and Michael Hartley and one great grandson Jence.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00PM Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at the Memory Gardens Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, OR. Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements. www.memorygardensmortuary.com
