Merle E. Watt 67 of Cheyenne, WY passed away early Wednesday morning, August 23rd, after a short but valiant battle with cancer. Merle died at home surrounded by family and friends.

Merle was born to Lucile (Grapes) and Arthur Watt. He was born, grew up and attended school in Torrington, WY. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, Merle began his working career as a teacher. He soon moved into a very successful career in sales and continued that until retirement in November of 2014.

Merle was proceeded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Kathy (Sexton), children Brian Blosmo (Jami), D’Lynn VanValkenburgh (Jim), Jarrod Blosmo (Tracey), Jason Blosmo (Angie), Jordan Watt (Tara), Liv Degerness (Chad Morgan), Danny Watt (Sarah), 20 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Janet Hartwig (Gary) other relatives and innumerable friends.

His Celebration Of Life will be held on September 9th at 2:00 p.m. at his and Kathy’s home – 2486 County Road 218, Cheyenne, WY. Everyone is invited to share in this special remembrance.
