Anna M. Deimler, 85, of York Haven, and formerly of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family, Saturday, March 31, 2018, at her home.
Born in Harrisburg on December 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Roy E. and Loma Moonshine Deimler.
Anna retired as an accounting technician for the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot, she also worked for the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Federal Building Selective Service, and Fort Indiantown Gap. She was a 1950 graduate of the former John Harris High School, Harrisburg. She was a member of Cassel’s Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Manchester, and a former member of Calvary Independent Church, Harrisburg. Anna was an avid reader, and also enjoyed word searches and watching television, but most of all doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Anna Lee Marshall wife of Dennis of New Cumberland; sister, Jean Marie Williams wife of Richard; granddaughter, Brenda Lee Anderson wife of Todd; great grandchildren, Destiny Lee Anderson, Ashlee Jade Anderson and Garrett Michael Anderson; and great great granddaughter, McKenzie Rose Welsh; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Lee Cayton; and a sister, Carolyn Longland.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2 PM in the Hummelstown Cemetery, South John Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. C. Marvin Hoffman officiating.
