Gary’s grandchildren were his light and life. He was a true survivor of life and our family was more than proud. He was an inspiration to all the lives he touched. He always had a way of changing people’s hearts and minds passing along his positive attitude. He was tireless and selfless when it came to family to persist in the face of struggle. His legacy, kind spirit and passion will live on with our family and all who knew him.

He was an outdoorsmen but most of all a family man. He took his daughters out to the woods regularly as he did later in life with the grandchildren who truly seemed to give him purpose in life. There will never be another Grandpa Gary, Papa Gary, Father, or Daddy. We love you high as the sky and deep as the sea. We will all miss you – Love all your punkineddies.
