Condolence: To the Anderson family. I was one of the family medicine faculty who taught and advised Jeff as a medical student at UM and followed his career in sports medicine by looking for him on the bench when UConn hoops teams were on TV. I know several of his family medicine colleagues at UConn through other connections and share in their loss along with my many sports medicine colleagues around the country with connections to UM and/or UConn. I was stunned when I first got the word about his passing and my thoughts are with you all in this time of sorrow. Kent Sheets

Condolence: To say that Jeff Anderson was a great man, husband, father, and friend to so many of us, only scratches the surface to what he represented in life. For those of us who worked with him at UConn, who prospered from his selflessness and infectious sense of humor each day, his passing is a loss that will linger for years to come. Many of the successes and accolades enjoyed by the Human Performance Laboratory in the Department of Kinesiology, that Jeff served as medical director for many years, can be directly attributed to his dedication as a clinician, an outstanding educator, and dear friend. In many way we share this loss with Christine, Erik and Luke and pray for their strength and peace.

Condolence: To the Anderson Family..your husband and father will live in my families hearts forever. In a time of great need for my family, your husband and dad came to my families aid and comforted and reassured us that he would care for our daughter who was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was a truly caring and compassionate person, and what he did for our family in our time of need was immeasurable...we are heart broken and send our prayers and condolences to a man who came into our daughters life and brought comfort, safely, assurance, and love. He was an Earth Angel who made a difference.

Condolence: Anderson Family, may you be comforted in these days of intense mourning. In later days, may your grief give way to fond memories and smiles. May Jeff's memory always be a blessing. I'm his memory, a circle of trees will be planted in the desert. There, it will provide shade and shelter. In time, with other memorial trees, it will become as a forest- in the desert land of Israel. ברוך דיין האמת Baruch Dayan ha-emet. EKHS Class mate 1982, and UofM
