BEEVILLE – Valdemar A. (Val) Valdez, 62, of Beeville, died on Sept. 3, 2017. He was born on July 17, 1955 in Beeville, Tx to Alfredo and Adelfa (Flores) Valdez. He married Mary Gonzales on March 24, 1984 in Beeville, Tx. He worked in the oilfield transportation industry most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Valdez of Beeville, Tx; mother, Adelfa Valdez of George West, Tx; one brother, Guale Valdez of Boston, Mass; children, Joe Rudy (Tricia) Valdez of Flour Bluff, Tx, Timothy Lee (Amanda Brooke) Valdez of Calallen, Tx, Sabrina (Ryan) McElroy of Katy, Tx, Vanessa Valdez and Valdemar Valdez II both of Beeville; grandchildren, Caleb Alfredo Valdez, Leya Kendra Valdez, Brianna Adelfa Valdez, Cody McElroy, Kamy Valdez, Karly Valdez and Khloe Valdez.
Visitation will be held at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 11am-1pm. Funeral services will be held at 1pm at Oak Park Chapel with Pastor David Villarreal officiating. Cremation will follow.
