Obituary for Andrew David Bruck

Andrew David  Bruck
Andrew David Bruck, 87, Lebanon, Va., passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, on December 19, 1929, he was the son of the late Andrew Frank and Margaret Kiley Bruck.

He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1947, and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army from February 14, 1951 to February 14, 1953, and married Helen Rumgay on February 14, 1954.

He was the owner of Bruck Service Center in Hamilton until 1980. He then moved to Cleveland, Va., and was a radio and television service engineer at Southwest Virginia Community College until retirement in 2001.

He was a lifetime member of Lindenwald Kiwanis and a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Helen Bruck; three sons, Donald Bruck of Lebanon, Michael Bruck, San Antonio, Texas, and John Bruck, Doha, Qatar; sister Dawana Langdon, Newnan, Ga.; grandchildren, Chloe Bruck, Denver, Colo. A.J. Bruck and Carley Bruck both of Lebanon, and Samantha Davis, Elgin S.C.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in the Owens Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Timothy Hankins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

A memorial service will also be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Darrtown United Methodist Church in Oxford, Ohio, with Rev. Chris Trumbull officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
