Willie Wheeless, age 62, of Rockdale died Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in a local hospital. He was born on March 2, 1955 in Amarillo, TX to Hallice and Rosa Nell (Priest) Wheeless.
He graduated from Crockett High School in Austin. Willie proudly served in the United States Marine Corp.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hallice and Rosa and his sister Linda Gras.
Willie will be missed by his two daughters Amy Denmon and Alex Landa, his two brothers Bob Wheeless and Pat Wheeless, his three sisters Wanda Evans, Cathy Wheeless and Laura Merideth and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX.
Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
