Dorothy Gemkow passed away on September 17, 2017, at the age of 93. Dorothy was born to Wilmitt G. Breadner and Myrtle Irene Breadner in Ontario, Canada, on March 13, 1924. After graduating from high school, Dorothy went on to college and became a Registered Nurse.

She married Charles John “Chuck” Gemkow in Bermuda on September 10, 1949. Dorothy and Chuck had three sons: Charles Richard Gemkow, Lawrence Gordon Gemkow, and Robert Neil Gemkow.

Dorothy is survived by her sons: Richard (Cathy), Larry (Becky); daughter-in-law, Faye; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck; sisters: Helen and Marjorie; brother, Gordon; mother, Irene; son, Robert Neil; and grandson, Robert Neil, Jr.

There will be a Graveside Service at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee, WA, on Friday, September 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care of Telford’s Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee, WA.
