Robert J. “Rob” Hespel, 52, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center.
Born in Chicago, IL, on December 27, 1964, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Rosemary F. (Catalano) Hespel.
In June of 1990, he married the love of his life, Wendy Upton. The moved from Highland Park, IL, to Kenosha in 1993.
Rob spent many years in to the auto industry, where he met his wife. He worked for 10 years at Poplar Creek Theater, which he truly enjoyed. Most recently, him and his wife owned and operated Antioch Auto Center.
He loved music, motorcycles, boating, the water, bowling, playing the drums, but most importantly spending time with his boys and wife.
Rob is survived by his loving wife, Wendy; three sons, Terrence, Matthew and Dylan Hespel, all of Kenosha; and two brothers, Michael Hespel of Kenosha and Mark Hespel of Belvedere, IL. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Thursday, September 21st, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Friday, September 22nd, at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org, would be appreciated by the family.
