Obituary for Raymond Arthur VanEpps

Raymond Arthur VanEpps
Raymon Arthur VanEpps was born on January 2, 1933 in Brownsville, Oregon and died on September 15, 2017 in Sheridan, Oregon.

Dad passed away peacefully at home after 84 years of what can only be describes as a life well lived. Ray was born in Brownsville and raised in Silverton. He attended Silverton High School where he met and married the love of his life and the best partner anyone could ever ask for ; Ivy Jo. From there the two of them moved to Valsetz where they built a life full of family, friends and fun for over 35 years. From Valsetz to Sheridan in 1984 Ray continued to build a beautiful home and surrounding for all to come and enjoy. Whether it be fishing, camping, crabbing , four wheeling or making some of the most beautiful wood work, Ray loved it all and loved sharing it all. To say he will be missed is an understatement but the love and memories will live on with all of us who were ever touched by him throughout the years of that well lived life. Ray is survived by Ivy his loving wife of 66 ears, son Ray VanEpps Jr. (Arlene), daughter Charlotte Foster (Brad) and three granddaughters Audrey, Andrea and Hailey.

The Celebration of dad's life will be held at Orchard Heights Winery on September 27, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to hospice or your favorite charity.
