Warner Robins, GA- Frank T. Janouski, 66, formerly of Middletown, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 1, 2017 after a lengthy illness in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Frank was born on May 10, 1951 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late Lois Douglass Janouski and Francis Janouski formerly of Middletown, Pennsylvania and Edwardsville, Pennsylvania. In 1965, due to the closure of Olmstead Air Force Base, his parents along with their family moved to Georgia. A graduate of Northside High School's Class of 1970, Frank was named an Outstanding Senior for his commitment to managing most major sports activities. He was also awarded numerous commendations for his volunteer work involving numerous organizations in and around the Warner Robins area. Frank was a longtime member of the Warner Robins Jaycees and the local Moose Club. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for 6 years. After his active duty service he began his civil service career at Robins AFB where he worked for 30 years as a material handler until his retirement.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Janouski, and niece, Marci Janouski Griffee.
His memory will forever be treasured by his brothers, Steve Janouski (Laurie) of Warner Robins; Mike Janouski (Jean) of Pasco, Washington; nephews, Joshua, Michael, and Ryan Janouski; and numerous cousins, great nieces, great nephews and one great-great niece.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Frank's life will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Georgia. Matinchek Funeral Home, Inc., 206 E. Main Street, Middletown, Pennsylvania will handle the burial services where Frank will be laid to rest at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Middletown Cemetery. All family and friends are invited to attend one or both services.
