Condolence: My deepest condolences to the Lafferty family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see Kyle again.

Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"

Condolence: To Kyle’s family,

I had the pleasure of working with Kyle on the Tug Julie. Kyle reminded me of my son, also a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy. There’s something to be said about midshipmen coming out of the academy and Kyle embodied the professionalism and integrity of a Kings Point graduate. Although I only worked with Kyle for six weeks as captain on the Julie, he impressed me with his positivity, easy going nature and the ability to work as an integral part of the crew. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. May fond memories of Kyle help to sustain you at this time.

Condolence: I am so sad to hear of Kyle's passing. Really, there are no words. I knew Kyle as a happy, sweet boy. He always had a hug for me and that smile that lit up the room.
I will keep his parents and his sister in my prayers.
Rest in peace Kyle.
