Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Cornwall Community Hospital Saturday, September 23, 2017 at age 58. Born February 26, 1959 to the late Marinus and the late Hermina van den Oetelaar. Dear brother of Frances Quin (Pat) of Spencerville, Bonnie McDonald (Edward) of Alexandria, Sindy Leger (Noel) of Glen Robertson. Predeceased by his brother Theodore. Eric will be missed by his nieces and nephews and his friends at Marlborough Place. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 9:30 to 11 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 11 am. Interment in the St Martin of Tours parish cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Marlborough Place 1, 119 Marlborough St. N., Cornwall, Ontario K6H 4A1 would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Eric a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
