Shenia Sherell Ridley, beloved daughter of Isaiah Ridley, III and the late Jennie L. Ridley, was born on August 6, 1982 in Nassawadox, Virginia. She peacefully departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Coastal Hospice by the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland, surrounded by family.

Shenia received her education in the Accomack County Public Schools and graduated from Arcadia High School in June 2002. At an early age, she joined St. John’s United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being around family and friends and she loved joy riding.

Shenia was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie L. Ridley and her brother, Willie A. Carter.

Left to cherish her precious memories are: her father, Isaiah (Tina) Ridley of New Church, VA; children, Nakaya and Kiziah Burton of Hampton, VA; grandparents, Isaiah Ridley, II of New Church, VA and Grace Ridley of Parksley, VA; two stepsisters, Octavia Dorn of Pocomoke City, MD and O’Kenya Samuel of Nelsonia, VA; five aunts, Mary Handy of New Church, VA, Jevel (Michael) Burgess of Salisbury, MD, Priscilla Tyler of Greenbush, VA, Tammy (Ermon) Conquest of New Church, VA, and Mary Ridley-Tucker of Richmond, VA; two uncles, Frank (Dee) Davis of Snow Hill, MD and Michael Ridley of Parksley, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
