Condolences

Condolence From: Ruth Street
Condolence: Thank you for leaving me a message about Merle. I was so sorry to have missed the service honoring Merle but I was out of the country.

We enjoyed the years of friendship with both Bill and Merle during the Parkway Days and we have good memories of spending time at their cottage one summer. Merle was a great lady and I always enjoyed chatting with her after church for the many years we were together.

Condolence: To Merle’s Family,

We were sad to hear about Merle’s passing away. We knew Merle for many years through Springvale as I grew up in the church. We got to know Merle through visits back to the Stouffville area and her friendship with my mom and dad, Floyd & Doris Ratcliff. She was always interested in our ministry and we so appreciated her love, her prayers and letters.

We pray you will know God’s comfort and peace during this difficult time.

In Him,
Janice and John Cross

Condolence: Dear Lynn and family,

Your Mother was a good friend of ours and was keenly interested in the ministry we had with unreached people groups. Whenever we would come to Springvale we would visit together and her love for us was always so special.

May the Lord comfort your hearts at this time of loss. Knowing she is "absent from the body and present with the Lord" is of great comfort.

Condolence: Dear Lynn, Paul & Family
May you know God's peace & comfort as you mourn the homegoing of your dear mother & grandmother. She was a blessing to many, a beautiful lady inside & out, a woman of prayer & also someone with a great sense of humour! We enjoyed every opportunity we got to visit with her - a much loved aunt.
Love Dorothy & Bud

Condolence: Words cannot express the magnitude of the impact of Auntie Merle and Uncle Bill in our lives. What a gift to be called her second daughter, as I'm sure many others were called also. Her gentle way of understanding, of encouraging, her joy, her energy, her determination, her sincere love and faith are all lasting blessings to us. We miss her now but we will see her later. What a solid hope we have together in Christ!

Condolence: Dear Lynn and family,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Aunt Merle's passing. She was indeed a `Queen`` of a lady and a true daughter of God. She meant a great deal to me and I have always loved her. May she rest in peace and bliss with her precious savior.
Love from Joyce and Ed.

Condolence: Dearest Lynn and Family,
Our deepest condolences to all of you at this time. Merle enjoyed a long life and we are all so fortunate to have had her with us for all of this time. I have fond memories of her helping me bake a birthday cake for my mom in the kitchen of her cottage on Whitestone Lake. She will be missed but we all have memories like these that will help us find peace in time.
