Condolence: Mike and Larry... your brother was a friend from Sanderson (TX) schools... several of us have wondered about Steven's life after y'all left there. Finally found this obituary tonight... I'm so glad he had a good life, and that he continued his photography. I posted this on the Terrell County Museum facebook page for friends who asked about him. On another note, I loved your mom and dad... thought your mama was the prettiest lady I had ever seen! You have parents and a brother to be super proud of! I hope you remember some of us Sandersonites!

Condolence: Steve was the big brother every kid brother should have. We often lived near each other over the years; which is remarkable in our family. He taught me how to survey and gave me my first computer. We often spent hours visiting; sometimes late into the night. He always had time for me, a word of encouragement or much needed advice. Steve was a fighter; and even cancer had to wait until he was ready. And he was ready. He fought well, lived well, loved well and died well. I will miss Steve ; and know that others who knew him will miss him also. Until we meet again: farewell big brother, farewell.
