Dear Barbara, Anne, Trevor, Karen, Paul and Jean,
It is with great sadness that we heard about Peter's passing. It just seems like yesterday that we used to all get together for our Christmas dinners, and I remember fondly pulling open our Christmas crackers at the dinner table and looking for the great loot we would find inside and trading them around the table like they were great treasures at Paul and Jean's home.
Peter always brought out the "Christmas House" with the names in it that were always drawn out with great delight, with Peter's Grandchildren, Ashley, Nikolas, Brianne and Chris, all sitting around waiting to see what little gift they would come up with. Let's not forget the adults, who were just as eagerly waiting for their little treasures as well.
Then we all shared that first Christmas in the new house. It just seems like yesterday. All wonderful times, spent with the wonderful Smithers family.
I remember over the years the projects that Peter completed, whether they were large or small, it was with the same pride that they were completed.
Peter will surely be missed by all of his family and friends. Sincerest condolences to Barbara and her family, from Sue and Ivy. Rest in Peace Peter, you will be missed. God speed.
Sue and Ivy
