You came into our lives many years ago and stole our hearts. You never forgot not sending a birthday or Christmas card to us. On Friday September 29th In the mail was a birthday card for me from Don, I called him up and he told me that he didn't want to miss my birthday as it was coming up in the middle of October. I didn't, but he knew time was short and he really didn't let on that it was. He told me a couple months ago that he was fighting cancer, but didn't want us to worry as with the loss of Kay we had enough to think about.
Many many fond memories, You umpired many games for YVUA and officiated many Basketball games forYVBOA/CWBO for us, starting with when you were going to YVCC & working at Kmart in Yakima. Then when you got your teaching and coaching job at Granger until you went on to Montesano and Raymond High Schools. My girls knew you as one of their brothers. You even told me that while you were in High School in Goldendale that the G that was burned in Zillah's Football field grass was not for Granger that most everyone thought had done it.
Many feelings that hard to think about, but know you were loved and that you were a great Math teacher & coach. And now you get to Dance with your Mom and Kay. Till we meet again, Love you Son.
