Robert Luewllyn Sprouse, Jr., 68, of Louisburg departed this earthly life on Saturday, October 07, 2017 at Hillside Nursing & Rehabilitation in Wake Forest, NC. Born on April 22, 1949 to Robert L. Sprouse, Sr., and the late Dorothy Woodson Sprouse. Robert owned and operated a construction business for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed raising Foxhounds to hunt with.

The family will receive friends Saturday, October 14th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, NC.

In addition to his father he is survived by his son, Michael W. Sprouse (Liane) of Etowah, NC; daughter, Nichole Thompson (Chris) of Cummings, GA; grandchildren, Emery Sprouse, Catie and Will Thompson; sisters, Leah Lively of Yorktown, VA, Janet Zimmerman of Richmond, VA, and Debi Fierro of Gilbert, AZ and his brother, Don Sprouse of Southern Pines, NC
