Betty Rice & Jerry Ettinger
Frankfort – Betty Sue Richardson Rice, 66, and Gus Jerry Ettinger, 63, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. A Celebration of their lives will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Family Farm, 5855 Harp Pike, Frankfort, at 5:00 p.m. with Joe Clark speaking. Following, a gathering of family and friends will be held at the farm to share stories and memories of Betty and Jerry.

Betty was born in Russellville on May 5, 1951, to the late Norman “Pee Wee” and Katie Willie Mae Hardin Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Paul Rice, Jr. She was a homemaker and a farmer. Jerry was born October 2, 1954 in Gratz, Kentucky. He was a foreman for Townsend Tree
Service for over 20 years. Betty and Jerry enjoyed spending time outdoors, no matter what they were doing. Both of them shared a love and a soft spot for animals of all kinds. They both had a passion for motorcycles, spending time on the road, and were members of Kentucky Road Runners.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Paula Rene Adams and Sherry Gayle Hutcherson (Mike); brother, Kenneth Richardson; and grandchildren, Wayde and Miranda Hutcherson, Tory and Cody Adams. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Sarah Ettinger. Together, they were blessed with many wonderful family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
