Tammy Renee Simpson Henry
Funeral services for Mrs. Tammy Renee Simpson Henry of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Saturday, October 14, 2017 at The Assembly in West Monroe with Bro. Daniel Goodman and Pastor Shane Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Collinston, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Henry was born July 11, 1975 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on October 10, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 42. She loved to go riding in the boat and she loved to cut up and make people laugh. The ones dear to her knew her as “Mammy” or “Boo-Boo”. She was a fighter, but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and a friend to all.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy Price, Samuel B. Simpson, Jr. and Alice Virginia Simpson.
Survivors include her husband, John Henry of West Monroe; her children, Cailee Barmore, Dylan Barmore, Alan Henry and Sarah Henry all of West Monroe; her parents, Sam and Cathy Simpson of West Monroe; her grandfather, James Price of West Monroe; her sister, Christine Adkins and husband Bob of Grayson; her twin brother, Sammy Simpson and wife Jennifer of Calhoun; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Calvin Grace, Jimmy Brinson, Dylan Kelly, Jon Green, David Green and Lee Green. Honorary pallbearer will be Shane Zimmer.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Griffin Funeral Home to help defray the cost of funeral services.
