Petersburg- Graveside services for Mr. Brian William Finke, 56, of Petersburg are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Petersburg Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Morris officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Brian was born on Sept. 27, 1961 at Lawton to the late Mr. William Carl Finke, Jr. and Mrs. Velda F. (Provence) Finke. He departed this life on Sat. Oct. 7, 2017 at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma City.

Brian was raised at Lawton attending school there. He studied engineering at Cameron University and repaired medical equipment most of his working years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving honorably for 4 years as an electronic technician.

Brian married the former Susan Dunnagan in 1987. They shared a daughter and a son together. They made their home in Dallas area. Brian moved to South Carolina following his work a few years before moving back to this area at the family farm south of Ringling. Brian enjoyed flying kites, cooking, dancing and was an avid gun collector.

Survivors include his son, Robert William Finke and wife Lilly of Charleston, SC; stepdaughter, Christina Bass of McKinney, TX; sister, Dr. Carla Michaels of Dallas, TX; brother, Charles Finke and wife Sharon of Fink, TX; numerous other family and friends.

Honorary Bearers are James Phillips, Frank Banta and Zack West.
