Oliver Levi Cook passed away peacefully at Hillside Manor Nursing Home on Thursday October 12, 2017 in his 95th year.
He was born in North Easthope Township on September 18, 1923, the son of the late Edward H. Cook and the late Magdalena (Yost) Cook. Survived by his brother Neil (Merla) Cook of RR1 Stratford and sister Kathleen McLeod of Woodstock. Oliver will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Helen, brothers Allan and Lloyd (Edna), brother-in-law Walter McLeod, sister-in-law Edna Cook and nephew Wayne McLeod.
Friends will be received at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert St. Stratford on Monday October 16, 2017 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
