I have so many wonderful memories and stories to share about Jean.  I don't know which one to pick.  Jean was a fun-loving, energetic, bundle of joy.  She had a heart of gold, and everyone just enjoyed being around her.  I met her through our connection with Jazzercise.  I was an instructor, and Jean was one of the "class managers" who worked behind the desk and checked customers in for class.  Being almost 20 years older than I was, her energy in class and magnetism to connect with people always amazed me!  Bottom line, when Jean was in class, class was never boring!  You could tell she loved being there.  She'd hoot and holler, and make comments about the instructor (me, but always in fun), and could get the whole room joining in with her.  It didn't take long before we formed a bond and became friends outside of Jazzercise.  A group of us, Anna, Jane, Shultzie, Sally would often get together for a girl's night out for dinner with Jean, and it was always a great time!  We'd laugh so hard, my gut would hurt when I got home.  Of course, there was always playful kidding go on, and one of the favorite things we would tease Jean about was the fact that she was a "cougar".  She had married George, who was quite a few years younger than her; and we stated it was obvious she liked "younger men".  She never denied it, always smiled and laughed along; and my belief was she needed someone younger by her side to keep up with her over-abundance of energy.  I have lost a dear friend, someone who has made a permanent mark in my life and heart.  I will never forget her and those fun memories we shared over the years.
