Obituary for Kalip Allen Thomas Grimm

Kalip Allen Thomas Grimm, 18

Kalip Allen Thomas Grimm was born on October 22, 1998 in Middletown, Ohio to Stacey and Jacip Grimm. On October 16, 2017, at the tender age of 18 years old, Kalip departed this life, but his infectious smile and heart of gold will be remembered forever.

Kalip attended school in Lebanon, Ohio. After moving to Miamisburg in 2011, Kalip attended Miamisburg High School. Kalip graduated in May of 2017. He was excited about what the future would bring. Kalip recently started working at Security National Automotive Acceptance Corporation (SNACC). Although he only worked at (SNACC) for a short time, his co-workers recall how much of a pleasure it was working with him.

Kalip’s mother affectionately refers to him as her “baby bear.” Those who knew Kalip share this same sentiment. They speak fondly of his ability to brighten up their day with his BIG smile, funny personality, and his willingness to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement/support to someone in need. Kalip’s classmates and friends have shared countless stories and memories of the many ways in which he supported them during a rough time or simply gave them an unexpected compliment. Kalip’s life was taken way too soon, but his impact on the people around him, was much greater than he may have known.

As a younger kid, Kalip played lacrosse and football. He was a die-hard Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Cavaliers fan. However, his true love was music. Kalip was an avid lover of rap music and he loved, loved, loved Karaoke. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and family, listening to music and spending time with them.

Kalip is preceded in death by his aunt, Sandra Marie Dickey. He is survived by his parents,Stacey Grimm and Leanne Crone, father Jacip Grimm, stepmom Tia Grimm, brothers Dylan Grimm and Nick Crone, sisters Kenzie Crone, Lorelei Grimm, and Kaylee Grimm, Aunt “T” (Tiffani Bishop), uncle Joe Bishop and a host of other family and close friends.

Kalip will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was the kind of young man that anyone would be proud to call son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
