John Vern Herriott, 46, was born on February 17, 1971 in Sumter, SC to John Vern Herriott Sr. and Pauline Russell. He passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at his home.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Wayne Russell and Bobby John Lewis; paternal grandparents, Robert Herriott and Maggie Herriott; maternal grandparents, Henry T. Russell and Pauline O. Russell.

He is survived by a daughter, Whitney Green; reared-son, Jeffery Lewis; three brothers, Everette (Sheila) Russell, John Brown, Darryl (Tracy) Herriott; four sisters, Carletta Russell, Linda (Anthony) Robinson, Glenda Herriott, and Rayneisha Wright.

Funeral services will be held today, Friday, October 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rafting Creek Baptist Church, 3860 Highway 261 N, Rembert, SC with Reverend Melvin Mack, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will follow in the Rafting Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at 3211 Starview Drive, Dalzell, SC.
