Obituary for Jerry Don Reynolds

Jerry Don  Reynolds
Jerry Don Reynolds, born on February 18, 1946 (71) in Savoy, KY to Ruby and W.O. Reynolds, went to be with his Lord at 3:50pm. October 18, 2017 surrounded by his beloved family and close friends.

A loving and devoted husband and father, Jerry is survived by his wife Nancy, son Jerry Todd (Jeanna), daughter Barbara (James David), grandsons Matthew and George, granddaughters Miranda, Nicole (Corey Elmore), & Ashley, great grandson Brantley James, brother Bill Jr., sisters Sherree Smith (Tim) and Karen.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and William Orvid Reynolds, sister Joyce Gilliam (Jimmy), brothers Ronnie & David.

Jerry designed graphics for forty-two years at the Knoxville News Sentinel, retiring in 2007. His love of music inspired him to organize, lead and participate in a number of bands in the Knoxville area endearing himself to several generations of area music lovers. He will be missed greatly.

Visitation will be held at Bridgewater Place at 7pm Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

Graveside service will be 2pm Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Knoxville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
