The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Sheridan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I was just looking at the NRU pictures and saw your Dad in a few of them. Kerry, you look so much alike. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Condolence: Uncle Jimmy was our 'Santa Claus' with fond memories of every summer at the cottage and Pembroke Christmas’ waiting for his gregarious laugh, booming voice and big hands as we crammed into Grampa's tiny front room. We would always be welcomed with 'Good day' eh' along with our Martha Stewart -- Aunt Denise, and a crew of crazy, wonderful cousins. I remember walking through a snow storm around ten years old from Grampa's house on Mackay street to see the active household at Jim's and Denise's place and of course visit the Siamese cats and kittens and feed the exotic fish. Big hearts, big meals and big hugs with a few gentle greetings of “my pet” offered for good measure. It was always an adventure with the Sheridan clan. I suspect that Jimmy is already ‘organizing' the crib games alongside his brothers and sisters with Patrick appropriately at the head of the table, in his new resting place. May the 'Mayor' of Pembroke rest in peace (with a little rowdiness for good measure) Love, Barb

Condolence: Kerry and Tami and families. My deepest sympathy to you and all the family. It is not easy to lose anyone and even harder to say good bye to a father, grandfather...I am sure your good memories will pull you through this sad time and knowing James had a good life lived will also help. I hope our mass singing will help you in the grieving process.
