Obituary for Estelle M Morin (Morin)
AUGUSTA, MAINE
Estelle M. Morin, age 83, formerly of Highland Ave., died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in St. Prospere, P.Q., Canada on September 19, 1934 the daughter of the late Joseph and Lea (Poulin) Morin.
Estelle attended school in Canada, was a communicant of St. Michael Parish in Augusta and was a member of Cushnoc Senior Citizens.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 42 years by Hudson Paper and Statler Tissue Co.
She was pre-deceased by five brothers: Raoul, Lionel, Julien, Ivan and Raoul as well as a sister, Isabelle Boily.
Surviving are two sisters: Louisa Poulin and Lionette Morin, both of Augusta and several nieces and nephews.
There are no public visiting hours scheduled. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 30th at 11 AM at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME. Burial and committal prayers will follow at Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Rd., Augusta.
The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Alfond Center for Cancer Care for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to Estelle and the family during her time with them.
Memorial donations in Estelle’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
