Obituary for Helen K. Linardakis

Helen K. Linardakis age 94 of Haverhill, MA, formerly of Bridgeport, loving wife to the late Harry E. Linardakis passed away peacefully on Monday October 23, 2017. Born in Piraeus, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Kyreacos and Bessie Makrides Kalander. Helen grew up in West Virginia where she Graduated Valedictorian of her High School before moving to Bridgeport, CT. at the age of 18. She worked at Bridgeport Ophthalmic Group where she was the office manager for over 35 years. Helen was a lifelong learner and loved to travel to take in all the sights. She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Survivors include her daughters, Maria and husband Peter Liapakis of East Hartford, CT., Virginia and husband Jeffery Cameron of Haverhill, MA., her grandchildren Mike Liapakis and wife Annemarie of Cheshire CT., Eleni and husband Matthew Miller of Los Angeles, CA., Edward Robinson and wife Mara Newburyport, MA., Richard Cameron of Avril, MA., God daughter Patty Linardos. Helen was predeceased by her daughter Stacey and husband Saul Zachary, her brother George Kalander and wife Effie.

Friends are invited to attend The Rite of Burial on Friday October 27, 2017 at 12pm in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Ave, Bridgeport with Fr. Georgios Livaditis Presbyter officiating followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Calling hours will take place on Friday morning from 11am until time of service in the church. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport has been entrusted with the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Helen.
