Jeanne Kudlack, 90, passed away peacefully in Saddle Brook, NJ on October 28th. Jeanne was born in Freehold and resided there until 2015. Jeanne graduated from Freehold Regional High School and the Ann May School of Nursing at Fitkin Hospital. She served in the United States Cadet Nurse Corps during WW II and was a school nurse with the Manalapan Englishtown School District until her retirement. She was an event committee member and volunteer at the Monmouth Museum at Brookdale Community College. She was a communicant of the First Presbyterian Church in Freehold. Jeanne enjoyed bridge with her weekly bridge club, reading, knitting and crocheting, and the Manasquan beachfront.
Jeanne is survived by her sister, Barbara Jorgensen and husband Robert of Dedham, MA her two children, Drew Eric and wife, Dina of Saddle Brook, Sindri Linen of Charlottesville, VA, grand-children, Frank Kudlack and wife, Sarah, Ana Kudlack, Margaret (Meg) Linen and William Henry (Hank) Linen. She was blessed to have met her first great grandchild, Finn Evan, child of Frank and Sarah in July, giving her great joy. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank and her parents, William and Eleanor Errickson.
Gathering and visiting hours for family and friends will be Monday, October 30th from 5-8pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 31st at the funeral home at 11:00am and immediately following she will be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
