I attended grade school at District No. 53 in Phelps County NE with Betty, Sharon and John. Although I haven't had recent contact with Betty, I keep in close contact with her brother John. When I shared with my daughter of her passing she was so sad and had shared a story of when Betty would come to the gym when Norm was teaching and Annie was in grade School. She said Betty has a very special way of tying shoes... such a sweet little memory... She will be greatly missed
