Obituary for Robert A. Spellman
Robert A. Spellman, 72, of Seaside Heights, NJ, unexpectedly passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Lansdale, PA for 30 years before moving to Seaside Heights one year ago. Prior to retiring in 2005, Robert was a Director at Unisys Corp in Blue Bell, PA. Robert served in the US Navy and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an active parishioner of Corpus Christi RCC in Lansdale, PA where he was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Robert was also a member of the American Legion Post 933, and the Ortley Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife Gloria of 42 years, three daughters Lori (Joe) Tropea of Souderton, PA, Tara (VJ) Bilotta of New Hanover, PA and Patricia Gandolfo of Blue Bell, PA, a sister Ann DeSimone of Staten Island, NY and five grandchildren Joseph, Jacob, Santina, Sara and Joseph Jr. Along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be offered Monday, November 6, 2017 12:00 noon at Corpus Christi RC Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, following the mass will be a celebration of life for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to a charity of your choice.
Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, is in charge of the arrangements.
