Obituary for Karen Theresa Buss

Dateline: Clifton Park, NY
Karen Theresa Buss, age 60, of Clifton Park, New York, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Inn of Saint Peter's Hospital surrounded by her loving and extended family on Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was born on September 4, 1957 in Brookline, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lane) Beatty. Karen grew-up in Cambridge, Massachusetts and earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Providence College and an MBA from Framingham State College. She worked successfully in the Healthcare industry for many years as a sales representative. Karen loved to ski and play tennis in her free time. She enjoyed most, watching and supporting her sons in their athletic pursuits, playing Baseball and Football (Shenendehowa High School, RPI and UCONN). Karen was an avid Red Sox fan and she loved the Boston area with a passion. Although she enjoyed times traveling and socializing, nothing compared to her most happy moments when she was surrounded by her sons and all of their closest friends in the comfort of her own home.

Karen was the beloved and devoted mother of Kyle and Ryan Buss; former wife of David Buss;
Sister of Mary Ann Williamson (Richard); Aunt of Kevin, Kristen and Sean Williamson.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Corpus Christi Church, 2001 Route 9, Round Lake, NY 12151.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 9:00 am at the church.

Interment will be on Friday at 3:00 PM in The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, 670 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA 02132
