Michael Jonathan  Downs
MOULTONBOROUGH - Michael J. Downs (known to family and friends as Mikey), 29, of Moultonborough, passed away with family on Monday, Oct.30,, 2017.

He attended school at Inter-Lakes, Moultonborough and New Hampton, where he wrestled and played football.

After school, Michael moved to Denver, Colo. And Edgewater, Fla., before returning home at the age of 20. As he moved around working at restaurants, he became a great cook. Michael also had knowledge of landscaping, and he loved the outdoors. Like some of his family, carpentry became his trade, which he enjoyed. Fishing had been his go-to sport since he was his son's age, along with snowboarding and gaming. He also had a deep passion for New England sports, and a love of music.

As a good natured, loving and caring soul, Michael will be greatly missed.

Michael outlived his mother, Suzanne Phillips Lianos, and stepfather Alex Lianos.

He is survived by his son, Aiden A. Downs of Moultonborough; grandmother Jane Phillips of Center Sandwich; aunt Amy Phillips of Denver, Colo.; uncle Glenn Phillips of Center Sandwich and his son; step-sister Jenifer Lianos of Moultonborough and boyfriend Wayne Kelley; step-sister Kendra Lianos, two nephews, and a niece, all of Hudson; grandmother Miriam Downs of Andover; cousin Brian Tarte and Amy Hoffman of Center Harbor; aunt Sally Tarte of Center Harbor; aunt Lynn Roubo and two cousins of Meredith; aunt Lorri Lenentine of Holderness; uncle Steve Downs of Gilmanton; uncle Ken Downs of Meredith; and cousins Shane Plummer of Concord and Alex Plummer of Center Harbor.

Calling hours will be held at Mayhew Funeral Home in Meredith on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 1 to 3pm.

Instead of flowers, donations are needed at the Manchester Safe Station, 100 Merrimack St., Manchester, NH 03101.
