Obituary for Juanita Mae Deason (Barton)
Juanita Mae Deason, 81, of West Frankfort, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her residence.
Juanita was born March 3, 1936 in West Frankfort to Elmer & Hazel (Allen) Barton. She married Roy Deason on July 4, 1953 in West Frankfort.
Juanita was a homemaker and loved to take care of her family. She enjoyed working at the Crosswalk Food Pantry in West Frankfort for several years helping the residents of Franklin County.
She enjoyed collecting recipes, playing games on the computer and doing word puzzles.
Juanita is survived by her husband Roy of West Frankfort; daughter, Debbie Jackanicz of West Frankfort; grandchildren, Preston (Megan) Deason, Trey (Sydney McPhail) Jackanicz, Brianne Deason, Sara Deason, Brandi Reese and Rachel Reese; great-grandchildren are Bailey, Jenna, Ava, Kynzi, Cash, Holdyn, Maxx, Kylar, Kanon, Payce, Jaden and anxiously awaiting the arrival of Myles Charley Jackanicz in December; sister, Barbara Bowman of Metropolis; brother, Lynn Barton of West Frankfort.
She was preceded by two sons, Buddy and Jeff Deason; a daughter, Lisa Reese and her parents; brother, Allen Barton and an infant sister, Lynnette Barton.
Celebration of life services will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2017 in Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City with Rev. Larry Hollman officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday at the funeral home.
Private Inurnment will be in Herrin City Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the West Frankfort Main Street Flower Beautification Program. Memorial Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
