Campbell, Arthur Thomas died peacefully on November 9, 2017 following a period of declining health. Born in Watertown, MA on September 3, 1939 he was the youngest child of Neil and Teresa Campbell (Costigan). He graduated from Watertown High School and then Tufts University in 1961. Later he earned his Masters degree from Northeastern University in 1964 and his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1967. Arthur enjoyed a successful career in the high-tech industry. In his spare time, he was an avid reader and golfer. He also enjoyed listening to the Boston Pops and watching the Red Sox. He was the loving father of Michele Scannell and her husband Ken of Shrewsbury, MA and Nancy Campbell of Saugus, MA. Arthur is also survived by his grandsons, Jack and Kyle Scannell, and was the devoted brother of Rosemary and Edward Campbell of Watertown, MA. The family wishes to recognize the entire staff at the Reflections Unit at Traditions of Wayland, Every Step Home Care, and Good Shepherd Community Care who all provided love and support to Arthur and made his last few months happy and peaceful. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday November 12th, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at DeVito Funeral Home, 761 Mt. Auburn Street., WATERTOWN. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 13th at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Watertown. Burial will be private.
