Condolence From: Lynn Tomkins
Condolence: Dear Rod, I have just discovered today that Melanie passed away last November. I am so very shocked and sorry to learn this terribly sad news. I have such fond memories of her as a vibrant and gracious woman from the time I worked with you in Newcastle. I remember staying with your family to go night skiing at Kirby and how warmly welcome Mel made me feel. Please accept my deepest condolences, I feel terrible that I did not know earlier, I would have attended her memorial service out of respect and affection for you both. Again, please accept my sincere sympathy, Warm Regards, Lynn

Condolence: Dear Rod and family
We are very sad to hear of Melanie's death. It is particularly sad, as she was full of life and had more things to do. Her accomplishments are endless...your four accomplished children, her support of St. George's, her charities, her amazing bridge skills. I still think of the delicious Christmas Cake I won at the Silent Auction for OSPS, with icing!and packaged perfectly in a Christmas tin. Keep well. Love the Shrives
