Helen Trotter  Rogers
Helen Trotter Rogers, age 82 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2017.
Born on November 3, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Levi and Bonnie Waters Trotter. A native of Habersham County, she dedicated her life to being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker and a member of Covenant Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, baking and babysitting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl William Rogers; grandchild, Zachary Fry; and brother, Bobby Trotter.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & Dwight Fry of Cleveland, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, William & Ann Rogers of Clarkesville, GA and Edward & Melinda Rogers of Cleveland, GA; brothers, Charles Trotter of Cleveland, GA, Billy Trotter of Clarkesville, GA, Marvin Trotter of Demorest, GA; sister, Betty Jean Dube of Cornelia; 6 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, November 11, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Bill Trotter and Rev. Wayne Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in Clarkesville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
