The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Donahue can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I just learned of the passing of your dad. Oh the memories my brothers and I have of living across the street from one of the best neighbors ever! I can still see your dad on top of his roof fixing shingles and always quietly tending as he did. And I can still see your mom talking to my mom out on the side of the road with cigarettes hanging out of their mouths with that wonderful laugh of hers. Always such kind, hardworking and fun people.
