Helen F. (O'Block) Potochnik, age 84, lifelong resident of Plum, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 13, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Potochnik, Sr. Loving mother of Louis J. Potochnik, Jr., Donna L. (late John) Kelly and Diane L. (Martin) “Dee Dee” Girard. Grandmother of Kristopher Kelly, Olivia Gerard and Matthew Girard. Sister of Ruth M. (late Louis) Grant and June E. (late Jerry) Merola. Daughter of the late Anthony and Teanie (Funfer) O'Block. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Helen loved listening to polka music on Saturday's radio programs and always enjoyed the polka dances she attended. Friends received 2-8 p.m. Thursday at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Rd. (across from S & T Bank) Plum, PA 15239. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 12 p.m., St. John the Baptist R. C. Church. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.
