Obituary for John J. O'Connor

John J. O’Connor, 79, passed away Mon. Nov 13, 2017. He was born March 23, 1938 to the late George and Helen O’Connor. John was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School and was a foreman for the railroad. He was a parishioner for many years at St. Catherine of Siena Church. He leaves his sister Barbara O’Connor of NY., and his brother James O’Connor of Spfld. He was also predeceased by his brothers George Jr., William and Jeremiah O’Connor. Calling Hours will be held THURSDAY from 4 to 6 PM at SAMPSON’S CHAPEL OF THE ACRES, 21 TINKHAM RD., SPFLD. Funeral Services and Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church, 1023 Parker St., Spfld, MA 01129
