Gonzalo Cipres, 85, November 14, 2017, longtime resident of the southwest side of Chicago, of Garfield Ridge neighborhood, beloved husband of Brumilda, nee Solorzano; devoted father of Martha (Salvador, C.F.D.-retired) Marquez, Maria Elena (Charles, C.P.D.) Artz and Michael (Sylvia) Cipres; loving grandfather of Stefanie (Jesse) Tello, Salvador Marquez, IV, Olivia Artz, Ava Artz, Janina (Sopha) Cipres-Tun, Michelle Cipres and Aaron Cipres; great-grandfather of Sophia Cipres and Renzo Cipres-Tun; fond brother of nine; dear uncle of many. Devout member of Opus Dei.
