PHYLLIS A. KUEGEMAN was born in Chicago, Illinois at noon on November 20, 1916. She passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. Phyllis loved life and everyone. Everyone and life loved her. She was a joy to be around, always expressing a positive attitude and willingness to help others. Many people benefited from her generosity. Her creative talents for sewing, knitting, gardening, baking and cooking were shared with family and friends. She was married to Wally Kuegeman for 48 years before his passing in 1990. They moved to Roseburg in 1984. Phyllis is survived by her daughters Belinda and Debra; son-in-laws David and Eric; grandchildren Devon, Darrce and her husband Will. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her family and her many, many wonderful friends. A memorial service will be held at Wilsons’s Chapel of the Roses on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow.
