Graveside Services for Mr. Preston L. Jobe, 91 of Leon are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.

Preston was born on March 24, 1926 in Claypool to the late Mr. Jade Jobe and Mrs. Laura (Arner) Jobe. He passed from this life on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in Norman.

Preston was raised in Ringling until he joined the Navy. He married Thelma Lyons and they moved to west Texas where he worked in the oil fields. Preston returned to OK in 1960 residing in Oklahoma City working as a cross county truck driver. He moved back to Ringling around 1974 where he began ranching. Preston enjoyed fishing and always had a boat. He loved the water. Preston was a member of the Oddfellows in Ringling.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Thelma; brothers, Cecil, Lewis and Lavon; and sisters, Bessie Boyd and Immogene Singleton.

Preston is survived by his sons, David Jobe and wife Carol of Del City and Larry Jobe of Burneyville; companion, Faye Yokum of the home; brother, Lawrence Jobe of Norman; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and other family and friends.

Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday Nov. 24, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
