Condolence: Getting older, in the backs of our minds we realize that our time is getting shorter. Danny's passing, while a shock, hopefully makes us evaluate those around and far away that we got to spend time with and in some way shaped who we are today. I was fortunate to spend time with Danny at Berkshire School in MA. I have a son, Dylan, who is an exceptional baseball player like Danny and watching him play reminds me of my younger days and watching baseball games at Berkshire with Danny as the highlight.
Take this time to reach out to those in your past and tell them how much you appreciated your time together. May the joyful memories be enough to get you past the sorrow you now feel.
Good bye, Danny.

Condolence: so shocked to hear this sad new. danny was a classmate and good friend at berkshire and though we haven't spoken in way too long, he was a huge part of why that place remains so special to me. danny was an amazing athlete and teammate (saw him pick guys off at first without ever leaving a crouch!), a born leader, and the kind of friend who never let you take yourself too seriously. my sincerest condolences to his wife, kids and family. he was a good guy -- and i mean that in the most profound sense. i'm proud i had the chance to know him.

Condolence: The guy who made the name Tiger famous was Danny Maghery, not you know who. Danny was the best athlete I ever played with. His pick-offs to first, second or third base were lethal. Plus he was a gentle repectful teammate who stayed humble when others wouldn’t have. He was always a strong soft-spoken leader. Whenever I think of the good old days, Tiger is a part of them, as was his father, my favorite coach of all-time. And boy they loved their golden retrievers. Always a part of the family. Rest In peace, Tiger. You were the best.
