Obituary for Mary F. Koehler
Mary Florence Koehler, 91, passed away on November 22, 2017 in Arlington, Texas.
Service: A private graveside service will be held at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.
Mary Florence was born on January 1, 1926 in Fort Worth, Texas to Elmer Lemuel Booth and Mattie Belle “Richardson” Booth. She grew up in Fort Worth on the Northside. Florence graduated from Northside High School in 1943. After high school she worked as an accountant for Meachum Air Field. She met August Calvin “Gus” Koehler through mutual friends on a blind date. They were married on January 6, 1956.
Mother loved to collect antiques and decorate. She also loved to travel. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchild, Mason. She will be missed her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Gus” of 61 years, parents, two brothers, two sisters, and son-in-law, Robert G. Moretz.
Survivors: She leaves behind two daughters, Karol Koehler and Kim Moretz; one son, Michael Koehler and wife, Terri; grandson, Brandon Moretz and wife, Natalie; and great-grandson, Mason Moretz; and granddaughter, Kristen Moretz and her fiancé, Kolby Kelly.
